If we go back to Virginia beach, we will consider this hotel again.See the best of central London from the water with Thames River Sightseeing. We had a good night sleep every night, even my toddler. Hotel, even though was fully booked, was not loud at all. One tip, bring a clothes drying rack with you for all the wet stuff, we didn't have anywhere to dry things other than bathroom. It is a pretty decent size room too, we built a pack'nplay there for my son, put it next to the bed and still plenty of room left. However, it would be nice to put a drape or something that can separate it little more. I didn't realize is that the back room has no door (which I understand it can't have a door since there is no window in there). It would be tough with a kid and all the beach stuff going up the steps few times a day. We asked for the floor room and were lucky to get it. There is no elevator on the back side where suites are located. They also had a free wifi (not plugged as they say in their description, should update that too, people love wifi). There was always something happening there, my kid loved the concerts and dancing. Hotel is pretty close to the Neptune Statue, about 10 minutes walking. Very good food, big selection and pretty cheap. No alcoholic beverages allowed so bring your coolie for a (non alcoholic) beer you can get in the store right next to the hotel ) Not many fancy restaurants close by, after walking around few times, we always ended up in the same Pizza place that is 3 minutes from the hotel (north end pizza). Convenient location, 2 minutes to the beach, just across the street, traffic was very light too. Parking lot is small but we always found a spot to park. Pool is small but we didn't use it even once. Bathroom was a nice size, standard stuff. we were always asked if we need anything. Room service was excellent, we saw the housekeepers a lot since we were right across from the laundry room. Kitchen was just enough, there were some utensils and pots, but if you are planning on cooking a lot, bring your own. We had two big flat screen TVs, no longer big tube TVs like in their old pictures (you should update your pics, I was really scared of those big TVs having a toddler). Beds were comfortable, sofa was well, sofa. Room was very nice and clean, smelled fresh. They offer a suite with 3 separate beds (3 adults) and a small back room. We were looking for a cheap short beach trip but needed a suite with 2 beds and a sofa a possible extra room so my toddler could have a quiet space to sleep in.
